André Gallantis a freelance photographer specializing in imaginative travel, people, and stock photography around the world. He has several major books to his credit - three with Pierre Berton, and Photo Impressionism and the Subjective Image co-authored with Freeman. André has recently self-published two hardcover books, Dreamscapes and Destinations and has penned and photographed Photographing People At Home and Around the World for Key Porter Books. A contributor to PhotoLife, André continually experiments with new visual approaches, techniques, film and digital in both his professional and personal photography, and he generously shares his ideas and expertise – in either English or French.

Freeman Pattersonhas been a freelance photographer for over 40 years, and his contribution to the medium is recognized around the world. He is the author of five best-selling instructional books on photography, and seven other books including his latest, The Garden, a collection of images and writing about his home at Shampers Bluff. Freeman believes a sound knowledge of visual design is fundamental to clear visual expression, and focuses on this in his illustrated lectures. Freeman has conducted annual workshops in Canada since 1973, in South Africa since 1984, and in many other countries.
